WHAT IS PLAN MANAGEMENT?
Plan Management is a fully funded service for NDIS Participants. A Plan Manager will take care of the NDIS funding on your behalf, by paying invoices directly to service providers and all other administration. This relieves the stress that can be associated with claiming payments directly through the NDIS Portal.
An additional key benefit for using a Plan Manager is that each participant can receive supports from service providers who are either registered or not registered with the NDIS.
HOW TO GET PLAN MANAGEMENT?
Plan Management is available to ALL participants – you just need to ask for it!
There is NO expense to you, as the NDIS covers the cost of this service.
It does not reduce or erode your entitlements.
Plan Management has its own support budget that falls under Capacity Building, called ‘Improved Life Choices’
If you have a current plan that does not include ‘Improved Life Choices’ you can request a review of your NDIS plan at any time to have Plan Management included (however please be aware that reviews can take some time).
